Kashi Viswanath Temple – Kashi Viswanath temple is one the most famous temples in Varanasi, also known as the Golden temple dedicated to the Lord Shiva. It was constructed in the year 1780 by the Maratha Monarch, Maharani Ahilyabai Holker of the Indore. This one is beautiful settled on the western banks of the river Ganges; this one is among twelve famous holiest jyotirlingas. Location – The temple is located at Viswanath Gali. Timings- This temple stays open during 02.30 am to 11.00 pm every day.
